I would like to invite you to send me an email at Contact Chef Lisa to stay informed of updates to my site and Personal Chef business, special offers, seasonal delicacies, recipes, and food related topics of interest.

"If you thought that having your very own ‘Personal Chef’ was only for the Rich and Famous, better think again! Granted it does have the ring of opulence but if living the life of a millionaire eludes you for the moment, you will be pleasantly surprised to learn that procuring a Personal Chef is not only affordable, but in my particular case, has shaved enough money off my food bill in one month for a exhilarating weekend in Las Vegas! Shall I explain?

I met Personal Chef Lisa Lovett through a mutual friend who had hired Lisa to prepare a gourmet Vegetarian Thanksgiving Dinner last year. She was thrilled with the results. From that point Lisa became my friend’s Personal Chef.

Good friends secretly share the identity of their Personal Chef like they would a skilled plastic surgeon. Thus, word of mouth is the best way of finding the exceptional Personal Chefs. Now that Lisa has become my Personal Chef we meet bi-monthly to discuss the next two weeks' worth of meals, new recipes, budget, and my goal to shed 30 pounds before my next high school reunion. Lisa then designs a personalized menu for the client’s approval. Now the real work begins. She shops for the best values for fresh produce (usually at Farmer’s Markets), meat and fish markets, bakeries, delis for cheeses and ethnic markets for items not found in conventional stores. Usually this requires research and traveling some distances to complete. Preparing the food takes place in the clients' own kitchen on an assigned ‘Cook day' and is what Lisa truly loves. She brings all of her own culinary tools, including pots and pans, to be assured of having what she needs. The food is prepared, packaged (in serving-sized portions pre-designated beforehand) and labeled with heating instructions, and dated. The client’s kitchen is left clean, the freezer is full of healthy meals to pop into the oven or microwave and the thought of what to ‘fix for dinner’ is taken care of for the next couple of weeks!

Before having a Personal Chef, I poured dollars down the drain every week on spoiled or dried up food, fruits and vegetables. I’m not proud of the fact, it just kept happening. That amount, coupled with wasteful spending on junk food and eating out in delis and restaurants all the time, was ridiculous. I’ll also admit that I had no willpower when it came to eating junk. As for nutrition and portion control a ‘well-balanced diet’ to me meant a gallon of ice cream in one hand and a whole chocolate cake in the other. With Lisa’s expert guidance I now understand ‘portion control’ and by having delicious food ready to eat at a moment's notice, have refrained from the feeding frenzy of a bag of Fritos and block of Velveeta cheese for dinner. Most surprising but best of all, I’ve discovered the fact that …I’m worth having my own Personal Chef."
